Mac beta release notes
0.9 (beta)
Downloadable beta for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later. This release replaces the earlier 1.0.0 beta 1 label; future beta updates use 0.9.1, 0.9.2, and so on.
- Updated app subtitle: “Your one-button Fast Censor Kit.” with F, C, and K underlined.
- About DumpFCK identifies Autotelics, LLC, shows the current copyright year, and links to the website, Terms of Use, and Privacy.
- Version 0.9 (beta), build 102. Audio processing is unchanged from build 101, which passed a 30-minute built-in microphone hardware soak.
- One installer for the app and DumpFCK virtual audio device, with a deferrable restart recommendation.
- 5, 10, 15, and 30-second target delays; every start fills the complete target before playback.
- Beep, silence, sampled trombone, and uploaded audio replacements up to seven seconds.
- Dump/clip mode with independent silence recovery and pitch-preserving speech slowdown.
- Actual and target delay indicators, waveform, configurable dump duration, and local sound previews.
- Settings migration from the prototype and an uninstaller that preserves user settings and clips.
Known limits
- This beta is Apple Silicon only. Intel support has not been released.
- Automatic word detection/transcription, global hotkeys, and automatic updates are not included.
- The app measures its own output timing; your audio interface, broadcasting software, encoder, and streaming service may add latency.
- A measured RØDECaster end-to-end soak and broader macOS/sleep-wake testing are still required before a general release.
